Danny Charles Welte Jr., 19, of Kirksville, Missouri passed away unexpectedly Sunday (November 13, 2016) at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.

The son of Danny Charles Sr. and Echo "Leanne" (Hanie) Welte, he was born July 11, 1997 in Kirksville, Missouri.

Danny is survived by his parents Danny Sr. and Leanne Welte of Kirksville, MO; two brothers Logan and Ethan Welte both of Kirksville, MO; two sisters Bethany Welte and fiancée Andrew Wellman and Danielle Welte all of Kirksville, MO; grandparents, Danny and Donna Welte of Lancaster, MO, Kenneth Hanie and wife Carol of Hannibal, MO; great grandparents, Zelpha Pruner of Lancaster, MO, and Lloyd Welte of Kirksville, MO; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Danny was preceded in death by his grandparents, Judith Ann Dobey and Richard Brantner, and his great-grandfather, John Pruner.

Danny was a graduate from Kirksville High School with the Class of 2015. He had been employed with Wal-Mart in Kirksville.

Danny loved spending time with his family and friends, playing Xbox and will be remembered as being a jokester.

He attended the Lancaster Baptist Church in Lancaster, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held Thursday (November 17, 2016) at 2:00 p.m. at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Pastor Lonnie Johnson presiding. Interment will follow the service at East Center Cemetery, east of Kirksville.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, (November 17, 2016) from noon until service time at 2:00 in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Christian Johnson, Chase Wolf, John Welte, James Welte, Philip Meany, Kevin Meany.
