Constance Kay "Connie" Broadwell, 65, of Kirksville, Missouri passed away Saturday (October 8, 2016) at Kirksville Manor Care Center, with her family by her side.

Connie was born November 23, 1950 in Kirksville, Missouri, the daughter of Herbert "Dean" and Mary E. (Davis) Broadwell. She grew up in Wichita, Kansas until her family moved to a farm in Novinger, Missouri in 1966. After graduating from Novinger High School in 1968, she went to work for Grim-Smith Hospital and was in the nursing field for thirty-four years. Connie then worked for RAIL for ten years.

Connie is survived by two brothers, Ron Davis of Macon, MO, and Larry Broadwell and wife Donna of Novinger, MO, two sisters, Debbie Hiatt and husband Terry of Novinger, MO, and Cheryl Gashwiler of Kirksville, MO, seventeen nieces and nephews, 29 great nieces and nephews, four great great nieces, and longtime friends Marva Mears and Joyce Abbott.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, Rev. C.E. and Della Davis, Chester Broadwell, Henrietta Bergman Triplett, and an aunt, Loeta Broadwell.

Connie enjoyed spoiling her nieces and nephews, gardening, embroidering, reading, and the holidays.

It was Connie's wish to be cremated. Visitation will be held at Travis-Noe Funeral Home on November 22, 2016 from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. Interment will be November 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Highland Park Cemetery in Kirksville.
