Brian Lee Sullivan, 47, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly Thursday (October 13, 2016) at his home.

The son of Carolyn Sue Sullivan, he was born February 27, 1969 in Kirksville, Missouri. On August 17, 1991 in Kirksville, Missouri, Brian was united in marriage to Stephanie Anderson and they just celebrated their 25th Wedding Anniversary.

Brian is survived by his wife, Stephanie; two sons, Cody Sullivan and fiancée Hollianne Jackson, and Wyatt Sullivan all of Kirksville, MO; his step-father, Richard Kiene of Pandora, OH; one uncle David Sullivan of Novinger, MO; one aunt, Sharon Minnix and husband Larry of Kirksville, as well as several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Kiene in 2011.

Brian was a graduate from Kirksville High School with the Class of 1989. He was employed for several years for Aero Cab Company which was family owned before going to work a short time at Ortec. Brian then worked a number of years for the City of Kirksville before going to work for Merits Research and later H&R Block.

Brian's passion was music and from 1989 to 2010 he was lead singer for a number of bands including Midnite Highway, Back Roads, The Aaron Russell Band, Felonious Attempt and Southern Edge.

Brian was a member of Faith Lutheran Church of Kirksville.

Brian has been cremated and a Memorial service to honor his life will be held 11:30 a.m. Monday (October 17, 2016) at Faith Lutheran Church in Kirksville, with Pastor David Lukefahr presiding.

Family will receive friends on Sunday (October 16, 2016) from 6:00 to 8:000 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.

Honorary pallbearers will be Rick Shuey, Jeff Rushing, Chuck Hayes, Dan Sullivan, David Sullivan and P.T. Woods.

Expressions of sympathy in memory of Brian may be made to his wife Stephanie Sullivan for his medical expenses. Memorials may be left at or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.
