David Allen Sullivan, 59, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Friday, September 25, 2015 at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.

The son of George Franklin and Iris Naomi (Scofield) Sullivan, he was born January 2, 1956 in Kirksville, Missouri. On January 26, 1983, David married Lena Nelson and to this union two children were born.

David is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Eric and Jo Sullivan of Hurricane, UT and Scott and Brandyn Sullivan of Bartlesville, OK; two daughters and a son-in-law, Heather Montgomery of Kirksville, MO and Neva and Jason Wright of Owensville, IN; one brother and sister-in-law, John and Kebbie Sullivan of Lancaster, MO; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Connie Kron and Vicky and Larry Baker all of Kirksville, MO; ten grandchildren, Jackson, Jersey, Kaelyn, Adyson, Reese, Hailee, Noah, Erica, David and Miya; two great-grandchildren, Aiyana and Hyde, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Michael Dale Sullivan; one nephew, Jamie Cuculich, and one niece, Terri Jo Simpson.

David received his education in the Kirksville public schools. He worked for a time at Florsheim Shoe Factory before going to work as a truck driver for Rogers Trucking, Carter Trucking, Kirksville Concrete Company and last for Grgurich & Grgurich Trucking Company.

David enjoyed fishing and playing drums in the Black River Canyon Band.

Graveside services will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday (September 29, 2015) at Forest Llewellyn Cemetery in Kirksville, with Pastor Virgil Jones officiating.

Pallbearers will be Eric Sullivan, Scott Sullivan, Larry Baker, John Sullivan, Christopher Simonton and Michael Sullivan Jr.

Arrangements will be under the direction of Travis-Noe Funeral Home of Kirksville.
