Sharon Eilene (Lawson) Lindquist, 75, of Greentop, Missouri, passed away Tuesday (July 14, 2015) at her home under Hospice care.

The daughter of Emery Wilson and Oletha Pauline (Goucher) Lawson she was born July 7, 1940 in Novinger, Missouri. On November 4, 1980 in Unionville, Missouri, Sharon was united in marriage to Jim Lindquist.

Sharon is survived by her husband Jim of thirty-four years; one daughter, Connie Buckallew of Kirksville, MO; one brother and sister-in-law, Duane and Sue Lawson of Kirksville, MO; three grandchildren, Bryan and Preston Buckallew and Cody Mathias and one great-grandchild, Kaden Benton Mathias.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Sharon was a graduate from Novinger High School and attended Kirksville State Teachers College in Kirksville. She was employed a number of years for Dr. Barber and Dr. Grim and later went to work for KOH where she was a supervisor for the secretarial department. Sharon was last employed thirty-two years for Standard Register before retiring.

Sharon enjoyed flowers, cooking and baking, but most of all she loved her time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchild.

She attended New Harmony Church of Greentop.

Public visitation will be held Friday (July 17, 2015) with family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday (July 18, 2015) at Travis-Noe Funeral Home, with Pastor John Howell officiating. Music selections will be provided by Melodie Sevits who will be accompanied by Dianthe Cable, organist. Interment will follow the service at Greentop Cemetery in Greentop, Missouri.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Buckallew, Preston Buckallew, Cody Mathias, Shannon Bowen, Ken Pamperin and David Lawson. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Lindquist, Joshua Lindquist, Andrea Lindquist, Allen Conover, Marcus Crossgrove, Jonathon Crossgrove, Charlie Davison, Ty Davison, Jessie Davison, and Rod Derleth.

Expressions of sympathy in memory of Sharon Lindquist may be made to Hospice of Northeast Missouri. Memorials may be left at or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.
