Theresa Katherine (Ronchetto) Gasperi, 97, of Novinger, Missouri, passed away Sunday (July 12, 2015) at Twin Pines Adult Care Center in Kirksville.

The daughter of Joe Stephen and Onorina M. (Gay) Ronchetto she was born December 4, 1917 in Novinger, Missouri. On October 14, 1938 in Kirksville, Missouri, Theresa was united in marriage to Charles P. Gasperi who preceded her in death on October 26, 1999.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Charles J. Gasperi and one sister, Rosie Chiarottino.

Theresa is survived by her daughter-in-law, Diane Gasperi of Kirksville, MO; three grandsons, Stephen Gasperi and wife Kimberly of Kansas City, MO, Thomas Gasperi of Kirksville, MO and John Gasperi of St. Louis, MO; two great-grandchildren, Caitlyn and Grace Gasperi, and one niece, Theresa Chiarottino of Independence, MO.

Theresa was a lifelong resident of Novinger and attended the Novinger public schools. She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church.

Public visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday (July 15, 2015) in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday (July 15, 2015) at St. Rose Catholic Church in Novinger, Missouri, with Father Colin Franklin presiding. Interment will follow Mass at Novinger Cemetery in Novinger.

Pallbearers will be Stephen Gasperi, Thomas Gasperi, John Gasperi and Wendell Lee.
