Ruby Pauline (Mason) Potter, 85, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Friday, (November 27, 2015) at her home.

The daughter of George and Mary (Wallace) Mason, she was born February 5, 1930 in Kirksville, Missouri. On September 15, 1945 in Kirksville, Missouri, Ruby was united in marriage to Roy Dean Potter who preceded her in death on March 16, 2008.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; four infant daughters; two infant sons; one brother, Albert Mason and one sister, Hazel Rummerfield.

Ruby is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Kevin and Jennifer Potter of Kirksville, MO, and John Potter of Springfield, MO; one daughter and son-in-law, Darsha and Robert Summers of Pleasant Hill, MO; four grandchildren, Rachael and Katie Potter and Robbie and Chris Summers; five great-grandchildren, RC, Alexis, Phoenix and Emmy Summers and Corbin Potter, as well as two nieces, Donna Puffenbarger and Francis Fox.

Ruby was a graduate from Kirksville High School. She was employed twenty years at Lamberts Glove Factory until going to work for Hollister, Inc. where she was employed another twenty years until retiring.

Ruby enjoyed horse back riding, antiquing, cooking, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

No public visitation will be held.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, (December 2, 2015) at Maple Hills Cemetery in Kirksville, under the direction of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.
