Danny Leroy Scott, 46, of Millard, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday (November 29, 2015) in Monmouth, Illinois.

The son of Leroy Martin and Phyllis Ann (Moots) Scott, he was born October 28, 1969 in Kirksville, Missouri. On July 4, 2012 in Millard, Missouri, Danny was united in marriage to Christine Attwood.

Danny is survived by his wife, Christine of the home; one son, Billy Scott of Millard, MO; three step-sons, Jeremy Reyes of Moline, IL, Andrew Reyes of Cameron, MO and Kristoffer Reyes of Coal Valley, IL; one step-daughter, Chelsie Reyes of Millard, MO; three sisters, Teresa Kay Chuber of Falcon, MO, Darla Lee Hamilton of Fair Grove, MO and Kimberly Ann Littlejohn Parkville, MO; four grandchildren, Brody Scott, Travis Helm, Sergio Reyes and Annabelle Reyes, as well as several aunts and uncles.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents.

Danny received his education in the Kirksville public schools. He was a truck driver for many years and at the time of his death was employed for Fly Wheel Trucking Company.

Danny loved his truck and enjoyed truck driving over the country. He also enjoyed his Harley motorcycle, attending many bike rallies, and was a member of Freedom of the Road Riders.

Public visitation will be held Thursday, (December 3, 2015) with family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday (December 4, 2015) at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.

Danny will be cremated following his service and will be interred at a later date at New Harmony Cemetery, west of Greentop, Missouri.
