Harold Eugene Bozarth, 63, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Monday (August 18, 2014) at his home under Hospice care.

The son of Vern and Eunice (Wellman) Bozarth, he was born November 26, 1950 in Kirksville, Missouri. In 1975, Harold married Susie Stigall and to this union one daughter was born. On May 17, 1986 in Centerville, Iowa, he was united in marriage to Rochelle Latham.

Harold is survived by his wife, Rochelle Bozarth of the home; his mother, Eunice Dornberger of Chillicothe, MO; one daughter, Carrie LeAnn Wheeler of Brookfield, MO; one brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Renee Bozarth of Chillicothe, MO; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Geraldine Potter of Chillicothe, MO, LaFone and Tom Fontenot of Independence, MO, Rebecca McCoy of Humphreys, MO and Lori and Marty Dupree of Gravois Mills, MO; one granddaughter, Jocelyn LeAnn Durham of Brookfield, MO; mother-in-law, Tisha Shepard of Centerville, IA; brother-in-law, GK Chad Latham and wife JoEllen of Prairie City, IA, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and great and great-great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father; one sister, Flora Belle Stigall and one nephew, Vincent Stanley.

Harold was a graduate from Chillicothe High School in Chillicothe, Missouri. He was employed for Trenton Foods until going to work at Florsheim Shoe Factory in Kirksville, MO, where he worked a number of years. For 28 ½ years, Harold was employed as a CNA, RA, and Maintenance for Twin Pines Adult Care Center in Kirksville.

Harold had a great passion for fishing and his fish stories will be missed by many. For over thirty years he enjoyed doing yard work for people in Kirksville and the surrounding communities.

It was Harold’s wish to be cremated and his family will receive friends on Friday (August 22, 2014) from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday (August 22, 2014) at Travis-Noe Funeral Home, with Reverend Sara Galindo of Centerville, Iowa, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Northeast Missouri. Memorials may be left at or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.
