Ashton Nicole Cordray, 12, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Friday (June 20, 2014) at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.

The daughter of Jeremy Cordray and Nicole (Tallcott) Adams, she was born January 23, 2002 in Kirksville, Missouri.

Ashton is survived by her parents; one sister, Peyton Michelle Cordray of Kirksville, MO; two step brothers, Jordan and Austin Adams of Princeton, MO; paternal grandparents, Fred and Cindy Cordray of Kirksville, MO; maternal grandparents, Larry and Jo Tallcott of Loraine, IL; her great-grandmother, Cleta Tallcott of Loraine, IL; step father, Bill Adams of Kirksville, MO; step mother, Keri Rogers of Kirksville, MO; several aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as her nurse of 11 1/2 years, Leslie Capuano, nurse Donna Dorsey, Paraprofessional, Evelyn Ledford of 4 years and many other caretakers.

She was preceded in death by one Aunt Michelle Tallcott.

Ashton was very loved by all and her sister always said her sister had a beautiful smile. She enjoyed music, movies, books and Christmas lights.

Public visitation will be held Monday (June 23, 2014) with family receiving friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday (June 24, 2014) at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Pastor Richard Northcutt officiating. Interment will follow the service at Highland Park Cemetery in Kirksville.

Pallbearers will be Nick Panos, Steve Lowrey, Brad Neff and Ken Scott. Honorary pallbearers will be Luke Bachman, Jason Underwood, Cameron East, Silas Springer, Shawn Tallcott, Ron Tallcott and Andy Cordray.

In the celebration of Ashton’s life the family wishes that all who attend the funeral wear pink.
