Wanda Lee (Martin) Kellison, 85, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Friday (May 23, 2014) at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.

The daughter of Don C. and Lena Mae (Carnes) Martin, she was born March 22, 1929 in Yarrow, Missouri. On July 3, 1949 in Kirksville, Missouri, Wanda was united in marriage to Norman Lee Kellison who preceded her in death on May 12, 2008.

She was also preceded in death by parents; two brothers, LaVon Martin and Eugene Martin; two sisters, Dolores Branch and Maoma Kellison; one grandson, Jason Davis and a son-in-law, Bob Allen.

Wanda is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Ted and Lynn Kellison of Kirksville, MO; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Pat Allen of Kirksville, MO, Peggy and Ronnie Comley of Quincy, IL, Kathy and Bill McCarty of Maywood, MO and Lisa and Steve Akers of Pella, IA; eleven grandchildren, Robbie Allen and wife Michele, Debbie Steele and husband Phillip, Ryan Allen, Ryan Comley, Alyssia Comley, Amber Kellison, Tim Kellison, Amy McCarty, Christian McCarty, Derrick Akers and Benjamin Akers; eight great-grandchildren, Derek Allen, Jordyn Allen, Morgan Steele, Lauren Steele, Gaven Comley, Mavryk Comley, Nolan Davis and Cole Williams, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Wanda was a graduate from Kirksville High School with the Class of 1947. She enjoyed reading, watching TV, embroidery and crocheting.

Wanda loved her grandchildren and enjoyed her time spent with family.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday (May 27, 2014) at Highland Park Cemetery in Kirksville, with Reverend Dan Todd officiating.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday (May 27, 2014) for one hour before the graveside service in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Comley, Timothy Kellison, Ronnie Comley, Bill McCarty, Steve Akers and Derrick Akers.

Expressions of sympathy in memory of Wanda Kellison may be made to Hospice of Northeast Missouri or to the Shriners Children’s Hospital. Memorials may be left at or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.
