Betty Loraine (Graham) Knight, 88, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Sunday (February 2, 2014) at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.

The daughter of Luther F. and Bessy Blanch (Clark) Graham, she was born November 5, 1925 in Fort Madison, Iowa. On December 2, 1944 in Kirksville, Missouri, Betty was united in marriage to Lewis O’Haver who preceded her in death in 1973. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Gary O’Haver; one daughter, Shirley Parks; four brothers, Donald and Richard Graham and two in infancy, as well as one sister, Sharon Fouts.

Betty is survived by four sons, John O’Haver and James O’Haver both of LaPlata, MO and Donnie Lee O’Haver and Vernie O’Haver both of Kirksville, MO; two daughters, Karen Salsberry and Brenda Hollaway both of Kirksville, MO; one brother, Lloyd Graham of Kirksville, MO; one sister, Alice Matlick of Kirksville, MO; twenty grandchildren; many great and great-great grandchildren, and two special friends, Flora Sizemore and Mary Ward.

Betty resided in Muscatine, Iowa until moving to Kirksville, Missouri in 1982 to make her home. She loved dancing, bingo, puzzle books, Cardinal baseball and playing cards. Her love for her family was most important to Betty and she will be sadly missed.

She was a member of the LaPlata Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday (February 6, 2014) at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Pastor Larry Gibson officiating. Family will receive friends Thursday, from noon until service time at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Highland Park Cemetery in Kirksville.

Pallbearers will be Chad Knight, Everett Knight, Vernie O’Haver, George O’Haver, Michael O’Haver and Brian Salsberry.
