Karolyn Geraldine (Hatfield) Funk, 67, of Columbia, Missouri, passed away Tuesday (November 4, 2014) at Columbia Health Care Center.

The daughter of Boyd and Geraldine (Hatfield) Anderson, she was born October 25, 1947 in Novelty, Missouri.

Karolyn is survived by her mother, Geraldine Hatfield of Kirksville, MO; two sons, Spencer Funk and Norman Funk both of Columbia, MO; one daughter, Crystal Funk of Columbia, MO; one brother, Boyd Hatfield of Quincy, IL, and two sisters, Vivian Graham and Teresa Davis both of Kirksville, MO.

Expressions of sympathy in memory of Karolyn Funk may be made to the Adair County Food Bank. Memorials may be left at or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.

She was preceded in death by her father Boyd Hatfield in March of 1986, and one daughter, Twila Hatfield on December 28, 1958.

Karolyn was a graduate from high school in Edina, Missouri. She was employed in medical records in Kirksville, Moberly and last for the University Hospital in Columbia.

No public visitation will be held.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday (November 6, 2014) at Mt. Salem Cemetery in Newark, Missouri, under the direction of Travis-Noe Funeral Home of Kirksville.
