Maxine Fay Schillie, 86, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Tuesday,October 14, 2014 at Twin Pines Adult Care Center in Kirksville.

The daughter of John Wesley and Ilene G. (Jones) Schillie, she was born June 30, 1928 in Green Castle, Missouri.

Maxine is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Charles Harold and Nedra Schillie of Morton, IL, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Maurine May Schillie.

Maxine received her education in the Ethel public schools. She resided in Chicago, Illinois where she was a clerk for the Federal Bureau of Investigation thirty-five years. She moved to Kirksville, Missouri, to make her home in 1987.

Maxine was a member of the First Christian Church of Kirksville.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 17, 2014 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with family receiving friends one hour before service time. Her service will be officiated by Reverend Jim Pittney.

Interment will follow the service at Baden Springs Cemetery, south of Novinger.
