Harold Dean Combs, 53, of Greentop, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday (January 4, 2013) at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.

The son of James and Beulah (Peavler) Combs, he was born February 16, 1960 in Kirksville, Missouri. On September 8, 2001 in Greentop, Missouri, Harold was united in marriage to Sharon Fields.

Harold is survived by his wife Sharon of the home; three sons, James Dean Combs of Kirksville, MO, Jerry Nathaniel Combs and wife Kara of Omaha, NE and John Sebranek of Jefferson City, MO; one daughter, Megan Rena Scott of Marshall, MO; four brothers, Frank Combs and friend, Doris of Kirksville, MO, David Combs and wife Vickie of Greentop, MO, Donnie Combs and wife Vickie of Greentop, MO and Mike Combs and friend Tammy of Kirksville, MO; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Jane and John Georgette of Saddle Brook, MO, Shirley and Randy Hines of Brashear, MO and Sharon and David Sellers of San Antonio, TX, and five grandchildren, Megan Jo Combs, James Gerald Dean Combs, Jerrico Combs, Haven Brieanna Nicole Combs, and Blake Nathaniel Combs.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, James and Jerry.

Harold was a graduate from Novinger High School. He worked in construction a number of years in Iowa City for Aaron Concrete Company. Harold had also been employed for Milton Armstrong and for Petre Construction Company.

Harold enjoyed wood working, being around people and had a great love for his family.

Public visitation will be held Friday (January 10, 2014) from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.

Funeral services will follow visitation on Friday (January 10, 2014) at 7:30 p.m., with Pastor Alan Coonfield officiating.
