Alice Marie (Tanda) Sizemore, 64, of Worthington, Missouri, passed away Tuesday (January 21, 2014) at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Missouri.

The daughter of Frank O. and Dorothy Pauline (Smith) Lacey Tanda, she was born April 26, 1949 in Kirksville, Missouri. Alice was united in marriage to Lonnie Gean Sizemore who preceded her in death on January 5, 2014. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Ricky and Christopher James.

Alice is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Chad James and Mark McDonald of Dallas, TX, Gary and Heidi Dyer of Spanish Fort, AL and Steven and Jessica Dyer of Pensacola, FL; two daughters and a son-in-law, Lona Aeschliman of Memphis, MO and Chrissy and Nick Cook of Kirksville, MO; one sister and brother-in-law, Theresa and Alan Myers of Kirksville, MO; fifteen grandchildren, Aaron James, Jessica James, Carson Dyer, Addison Dyer, Kassie Sandusky, Kimberly Sandusky, Caleb Dyer, Hailey Dyer, Lane Gray, Paige Aeschliman, Levi Aeschliman, Nichole Cook, Makenna Cook, Marshall Cook and Nikala Cook; one niece, Alyssia Bass of Kirksville, MO, and many nieces and nephews.

Alice lived most of her life in Adair County and received her education in the Greentop public school.

Alice had a great love for her horses and all animals, was a great cook, and enjoyed crocheting.

She was very devoted to her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Alice was a member of the Wrangler 66 Saddle Club and of the Schuyler County 4-H club.

It was Alice’s wish to be cremated and a memorial service to celebrate her life will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday (January 26, 2014) in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Pastor Ralph Wheeler officiating. Family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. before the memorial service. Interment will follow the memorial service at Morelock Cemetery in rural Novinger, Missouri.
