Angela Jonette Baker, 44, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday (January 1, 2014) at her home.

The daughter of Larry Dean and Penny Theresa (Anesi) Baker, she was born August 12, 1969 in Kirksville, Missouri.

Angela is survived by her father and step mother, Dean and Vicky Baker of Kirksville, MO; her mother and step father, Penny and Jerry Veach of Columbia, MO; one son, Troy Mendenhall of Kirksville, MO; one daughter, Mataya Mendenhall of Kirksville, MO; her grandmother, Lois Baker of Kirksville, MO; one brother, Everett Rude Jr. of Kirksville, MO; two sisters, Trace Baker of Kirksville, MO and Tammy Simpson of St. Joseph, MO and two grandchildren, Kolby Shaw and Kaley Hilderman.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Dean Baker Jr. and her step sister, Teri Joe Simpson.

Angela was a graduate from Kirksville High School and attended two years at Kirksville Vo-Tech. She loved keeping up with family and friends on Facebook.

Graveside services will be held 2:30 p.m. Friday (January 3, 2014) at Forest Llewellyn Cemetery in Kirksville, with Sam Burkholder presiding. Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:30 in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, before leaving for the graveside service.
