Elene (Maddalozzo) Fallini, 103, of Novinger, Missouri, passed Monday (August 19, 2013) at North County Nursing Home in Collinsville, Oklahoma.

Elene was born July 26, 1910 in Novinger, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Harry Fallini who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Phyllis Fallini and two sisters.

Elene is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Gilbert and Virginia Fallini of Tulsa, OK; one daughter Janet Fallini of Collinsville, OK; one grandson, Bruce Fallini and wife Tiina of Temecula, CA; one granddaughter, Alessandra (Fallini) Eads and husband Joel of Tulsa, OK, as well as three great-grandchildren, Ian Brumley, Eveliina Fallini and Steffen Fallini.

Elene was a life long resident of Novinger, where she enjoyed working at Nardini’s Grocery & Variety Store and later at the Novinger Food Locker. In 2007, Elene moved to Collinsville, Oklahoma to be near her daughter Janet.

She will be remembered for being a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who will be sadly missed.

Elene was a devoted member of St. Rose Catholic Church of Novinger.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Friday (August 23, 2013) at St. Rose Catholic Church in Novinger, with Father Chris Cordes presiding. Interment will follow Mass at the Novinger Cemetery in Novinger.

A liturgical vigil service, including recitation of the rosary will be held 6:00 p.m. Thursday (August 22, 2013) in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, Missouri. Family will then receive friends following until 8:00 p.m.
