James Andrew “Jimmy” McKeehan, 55, of Novinger, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly, Monday (July 15, 2013) at his home.

The son of the late Fay Leroy and Thelma Ilene (Sayre) McKeehan, he was born March 11, 1958 in Kirksville, Missouri. On October 9, 1982, Jimmy was united in marriage to Pamela Holt and to this union two children were born.

Jimmy is survived by two daughters, Tiffany and Tierney McKeehan both of Kirksville, MO; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Cheryl Bragg of Novinger, MO, Karen and Dick White of Iowa, and Connie and Gary Davis of Kirksville, MO; three grandsons, Bricen, Koenn and Liam, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Jimmy was a graduate from Novinger High School with the Class of 1976. He was employed over twenty years at Florsheim Shoe Factory before going to work at PSF in Milan, Missouri, where he worked eight years. Jimmy was last employed for Ortech Co.

Jimmy enjoyed hunting and fishing and had a great love for his family.
He will be remembered for being a good softball player and was referred to as “The Hot Dog”.

It was Jimmy’s wish to be cremated and a memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday (July 17, 2013) at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday (July 17, 2013) for one hour before the memorial service.
