Patricia Louise Borrok, 67, of Novinger, Missouri, passed away Sunday (February 3, 2013).

The daughter of Frank and Maurine Kottenstette (Kerrigan), she was born January 16, 1946 in Denver, Colorado. On June 8, 1968, in Denver, Colorado, Patricia was united in Marriage to Martin J. Borrok.

Pat is survived by her husband, Martin of the home; three sons and two daughters-in-law, David and Peggy Borrok of Lafayette, Louisiana, Jack and Roxanne Borrok of Gaithersburg, Maryland, and Andrew Borrok of Columbia, Missouri; one daughter, Kathryn Borzillo of St. Louis, Missouri; five brothers, Father Bill Kottenstette of Kirksville, Missouri, Fred Kottenstette of Columbus, Ohio, Jim Kottenstette of Denver, Colorado, John Kottenstette of Denver, Colorado, and Michael Kottenstette of Laramie, Wyoming; three sisters, Teresa Jensen, Sr. Mary Kay Kottenstette and Sr. Maurine Kottenstette, all of Denver, Colorado; and five grandchildren: David Jr., Bella, Quinn, Evelyn and Benjamin Borrok.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Tom Kottenstette.

Pat graduated from high school in Denver, Colorado. She continued her education at Fontbonne University in St. Louis, Missouri, where she received a Bachelors degree. Pat was a school teacher in St. Louis before she and Martin moved to Novinger in 1971. Upon moving to Novinger, she continued her teaching career in Kirksville at the Regional Center, Mary Immaculate School and, last, at Green City School.

Pat was an active member of the St. Rose Catholic Church in Novinger, Missouri. She enjoyed scrap-booking, playing Bunko, and water exercising. In addition, she was a member of the Retired Teachers Association and served on the Library Board.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Friday (February 8, 2013) at the Newman Center in Kirksville, with Father Chris Cordes presiding. Burial will follow in the Mary Immaculate Cemetery in Kirksville.

Family will receive friends Thursday (February 7, 2013) from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the Newman Center in Kirksville.
