William Everett “Bill” Frazee, 67, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday (February 26, 2013).

Bill was born April 17, 1945 in Santa Monica, CA the son of Weldon and Marjorie (Gaines) Frazee. At an early age the family moved back to the family farm in Atlanta, Missouri where Bill spent his childhood, graduating from Atlanta High School with the Class of 1963. He then moved to Kansas City for a short time before returning to Macon, Missouri. Bill moved to Kirksville in 1970, where he spent the remainder of his life.

He had worked for Macon Coca Cola while in Macon, then for Wonder Bread and Pepsi when first moving to Kirksville. In 1972 he started his “John Deere career” with Dulaney and Baldwin Implement. In 1982 it changed hands to Tri-State Implement. In 1987 Bill worked briefly for Jim Robertson Chevrolet before going back to the farm business working for Pete Kimball. When Sydenstricker Farm and Lawn opened in Kirksville in 1994 Bill started work as the sales manager where he was currently employed.

On December 19, 1970 Bill married Linda Farr here in Kirksville and to that union one daughter was born, Jodi Lynn. Bill is survived by his wife of 42 years, Linda, his daughter, Jodi, of Longmont, CO, his mother, Marjorie Frazee, of Louisiana, MO, two sisters, Judy Marshall, of Fenton, MO and Phyllis Lovell, of Bowling Green, MO, his father-in-law, Everett Farr of Kirksville, MO, three nieces, one nephew, one great nephew, several cousins, his co-workers, a multitude of friends, and his best buddies, his beloved dogs, Babe and Jovi.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, Weldon, April 14, 2008, and his mother-in-law, Lila Farr, April 16, 2012.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Kirksville, Mt. Tabor Cemetery Board, Past Master of Kirksville Lodge #105 AF & AM, Caldwell Chapter No. 53, Kirksville Council No. 44, Ely Commandery, No. 22, Moila Shrine Temple in St. Joseph, MO, Past Patron of Kirksville Chapter No. 184 OES, and Loyal Order of the Moose #1751.

Bill enjoyed each day to the fullest with his family and his friends, he enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and playing golf, spending time at their place in Boot Jack and their home and 20 acres on Rainbow Basin Trail, and the many travels that he, Linda, and Jodi shared together. He shared his love, his life with them every day! He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten, by his family and his friends.

Public visitation will be held Saturday (March 2, 2013) with family receiving friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville. Masonic service will be held 7:30 p.m. Saturday (March 2, 2013) in the chapel.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday (March 3, 2013) at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville. Music selections “Shall we gather at the River” and “On Eagles Wings” will be provided by Sydney Lambert who will be accompanied by Dianthe Cable, organist. Interment will follow the service at Maple Hills Cemetery in Kirksville.

Pallbearers will be Neil Travis, Russell Tarr, Harold Beach, Terry Reynolds, Craig Shorten and John Aylward. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Dulaney, Pete Kimball, Greg Gabriel, “Gabe” Gabriel, Eddie Sydenstricker, Mack Bealmer & Sydenstricker Employees.

Expressions of sympathy in memory of Bill may be made to NEMO Heart Health or to the First United Methodist Church of Kirksville. Memorials may be left at or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.
