Dianna Sue (Baker) Logston, 61, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Saturday (December 28, 2013) at her home.
Born June 14, 1952 in Kirksville, Missouri, the youngest daughter of James Clyde and Olivene (Kibble) Baker.
Dianna grew up in the Milan and Kirksville areas. She attended Kirksville High and graduated with the Class of 1970, she then attended York community college in York, Nebraska. After college, Dianna worked in the nursing profession around Kirksville and Unionville.
On August 28, 1993, she was married to Charles Logston in Unionville, Missouri and he survives. She is also survived by one brother, Larry Baker of Milan, MO and one sister, Ramona Brummit of Ormond Beach, FL.
Dianne was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Dan Baker and one nephew, Michael Anthony Brummit.
Dianna loved to travel and go camping. She loved going to the Restful Valley Ranch Resort in Mission, Texas during the winter, until her health began failing in 2009.
She was a member of the Ann Haynes Chapter of the DAR, of the Unionville American Legion Auxiliary and was also a member of the Kirksville Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday (December 31, 2013) at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Pastor Barry Poyner presiding. Family will receive friends for one hour before the service. Interment will follow the service at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, Missouri.
Pallbearers will be Larry Logston, Roger Logston, Devyn Logston, Ronnie Logston, David Sizemore and Jacob Capps.
