LaDonna Kaye (Holloway) Rude, 42, of Pawnee, Illinois, formerly of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, January 5, 2023 following an automobile accident in Pawnee.

The daughter of Carroll Francis and Rhonda Sue (Ruggles) Holloway she was born July 21, 1980 in Kirksville, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Everett Eston Rude and to this union two children were born.

LaDonna is survived by Everett Eston Rude of Kirksville, MO; one son, Everett Eston Rude III of Pawnee, IL; one daughter and her fiancée, Alyssa Rude and Gregory Dent of Pawnee, IL; one brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Kim Gibson of Kirksville, MO; one sister and brother-in-law, Amanda and Jimmy Clark of Kirksville, MO; and three nephews.

LaDonna was preceded in death by her mother and step father, Rhonda and Bill Jenkins, and one grandchild.

LaDonna attended Novinger public school. She worked at Burger King in Kirksville for a number of years. After moving to Pawnee, Illinois, LaDonna worked as a manager of Krekels until going to work as a breakfast attendant for Comfort Suites where she was employed at the time of her death.

LaDonna enjoyed rock collecting in her spare time, but most of all she has a great love for her family and loved the time spent with her children.

Public visitation will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023 from noon to 2:00 p.m. service time in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville. Sam Burkholder will officiate the service and interment will follow the service at Highland Park Cemetery in Kirksville.

Pallbearers will be Larry Gibson, Frank Stewart, Leon Courtney, Cody Stewart, Robert Alan Hurst, and Harley Holloway. Honorary pallbearers will be Matthew Oberdahlhoff, Christian Cuevas, and Mykal Holloway.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of LaDonna may be made to her daughter, Alyssa Rude and may be left at or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.

God took a beautiful angel for he said she could not stay.. I'm sorry u have to feel all the heartache n pain today.. for she is now in a beautiful special place flying over us high as can be ... She will be waiting for all of us to get there someday just wait u will see.. I wish she wouldn't of went so dang soon but God wanted her right now there was nothing we could do for he has plans for her now for this I know is true so I am here for u n you brother if theirs anything I can do u guys in my eyes are family n just remember I got u" so sorry I love u guys love Jillian
