Theodore "Junior" Sweet, 85, of Kirksville, Missouri, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Schuyler County Nursing Home in Queen City, Missouri.

Born August 20, 1936 in Greentop, Missouri, Junior was the son of the late Theodore and Ruby Leone (Peterson) Sweet. Junior was married to Etta Mae Ralston and to this union two sons were born and a daughter and son were adopted. On July 3, 1992 in Kirksville, Missouri, Junior was united in marriage to Charlotte Graham.

Junior is survived by his wife Charlotte of twenty-nine years; two sons, Raymond Sweet of Kirksville, MO, and Michael Sweet of the State of Oregon; one daughter, Carol Steiger of the State of Texas; one step-son, Paul Otte of South Carolina; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and two step-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Junior was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Harold Sweet; one grandson, Matt Sweet, two sisters, Roene Dittmars and Ivalee Hartsock; and one brother, Charles Sweet.

Junior was a graduate from Greentop High School in Greentop, Missouri. Junior owned and operated Sweet Heating & Cooling for a number of years in Kirksville. He enjoyed driving race cars, hunting, fishing, and people loved his outgoing personality.

Junior accepted Christ and loved the Lord. He was a member of the Word of Life Church in Greentop, Missouri.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Pastor Danny Harrelson officiating. Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 5th for one hour before service time. Interment will follow the service at Willmathsville Cemetery in Willmathsville, MO.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Soutter, Jacob Sweet, David Sparks, Cliff Hollenbeck, Robert Gange, and Tim Kellison.
