Matthew Dale Sweet, 24, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, June 12, 2017.

The son of Harold Ray and Sara Beth (Noe) Sweet, he was born May 19, 1993 in Kirksville, Missouri.

Matthew is survived by his mother, Sara Beth Sweet of Kirksville, MO; his son, Hayden Sweet of Kirksville, MO; one brother and sister-in-law, Jake and Christina Sweet of Kirksville, MO; one sister, Katie Sweet of Kirksville, MO; grandparents, Peggy Noe and Junior and Charlotte Sweet all of Kirksville, MO; one nephew, Elijah Sweet of Kirksville, MO, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Matt was preceded in death by his father, Harold Ray Sweet on December 27, 2010, and his grandfather, Bud Noe on May 13, 2011.

Matt attended Adair County RII in Brashear, Missouri. He was employed for Adams-Davis Construction Company and S&S Construction Company both of Kirksville.

Matt enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and hunting arrowheads, but most of all time spent with his son Hayden.

Public visitation will be held Friday, June 16, 2017 from noon to 2:00 p.m. at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.

Graveside services will follow visitation on Friday, June16, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. at Willmathsville Cemetery in Willmathsville, Missouri with Pastor Harold Engle officiating.
