Arthur Dale "Monkey" Rummerfield, 60, of Kansas City, Missouri, formerly of Kirksville, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2026 at Bridgewood Health Center in Kansas City.

Born March 29, 1966 in Bloomfield, Iowa, Dale was the son of the late Arzy and Donna (McFarland) Rummerfield. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Robert Allen Rummerfield.

Dale is survived by three sons, Alex Rummerfield of Wes Plains, MO, Robert Brown of Macon, MO, and Brian Craig of Kirksville, MO; one daughter, Ashley Stribling of Kirksville, MO; two brothers, Jeffrey Rummerfield of Davenport, IA, and Robert Thompson of Kirksville, MO; and two sisters, Angie Thompson of Green City, MO, and Cheyenne Craig of Kirksville, MO.

Dale was a graduate from Kirksville R-III High School. He worked in construction a number of years and enjoyed fishing.

Dale has been cremated and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
