Larry Dale Erwin, 83, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at Kirksville Manor Care Center in Kirksville.

Born October 27, 1942 in Brashear, Missouri, Larry was the son of the late Virgil Lyle and Helen Ileene (Spurgeon) Erwin. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Leroy and David Erwin; and one sister Bertha Joyce McVay.

Larry is survived by two brothers and a sister-in-law, Donald and Brenda Erwin of Kirksville, MO, and Robert William Erwin of the State of Colorado; one sister, Sharon Ileene Erwin of Kirksville, MO; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Larry was a graduate of Brashear High School. From 1966 to 1968 Larry served his country in the United States Army. He was a long time farmer and enjoyed coyote hunting, bee keeping and working on old cars.

Public visitation will be held Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. service time in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with John Buckwalter presiding. Interment will follow the service at Sabbath Home Cemetery.
