Lisha Renee (Allspach) Davis

-

Lisha Renee (Allspach) Davis, 59, Kidder, MO formerly of Bevier, MO went home to our Heavenly Father on March 21, 2026.

Lisha was born on September 27, 1966, in Marshalltown, IA, the daughter of Larry and Julia (Thompson) Allspach.

Lisha graduated from Bevier High School in 1985 and later attended Moberly Area Community College. Determined to follow her lifelong dream, she went on to trucking school, earning her CDL and beginning a career as an over-the-road truck driver.

Lisha was united in marriage to Daryl Davis on June 27, 1992, in Kirksville, Missouri. Shortly after their marriage, they began driving together as a team, sharing not only the road but a deep love and partnership. In 2003, Lisha and Daryl made their home in Kidder, Missouri, where they built a home and life together.

Lisha loved God, her family, and her friends dearly. Behind the wheel, her favorite was her red Peterbilt, she spent countless miles listening to sermons, celebrating her faith, and growing in her love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Known by her CB handle “Dakota,” she took great pride in her work and cherished the time spent on the road with her husband. Christmas was Lisha’s favorite holiday, and she found great joy in sharing the story of Jesus’ birth with the little ones in her family. She loved giving gifts to family, friends, and even strangers, always finding ways to brighten someone’s day. Her generous spirit and giving heart were evident to all who knew her.

Lisha was also incredibly creative and talented, especially when it came to making flower arrangements and wreaths for loved ones. She was an avid shopper who loved finding a great deal in the clearance aisle—earning her the affectionate title of “Queen of Clearance” from those who knew her best. Her other great talent was talking on the phone; she loved to talk and could talk your ear off for hours if you let her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daryl Davis on April 19, 2016, Father Larry Allspach on July 12, 2019, Mother Julia Allspach on January 15, 2024, and Son Jason Davis on May 9, 2007.

Those left to cherish her memory are her grandson Nolan Davis of Kirksville, MO, Brother Randy Allspach and wife Mary of Bevier, MO, Sisters Lonnie Graham and husband Chuck of Hallsville, MO, Lori Andell and husband Joe of Holt, MO.
