Terry Lee Riley, 78, of Kirksville, Missouri passed away Thursday, February 19, 2026 at Macon Health Care Center in Macon, Missouri.

Born September 9, 1947 in Novinger, Missouri, Terry was the son of the late Ellis Lee and Lola May (Daniels) Riley. He was also preceded in death by one brother, James Riley. He married Laura Ann Lumsden and to this marriage one son Lee Riley was born. On August 23, 1984 in Miami, Oklahoma, Terry was united in marriage to Mary Elizabeth Phillips who preceded him in death on October 7, 1998.

Terry is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Stacie Riley of Kirksville, MO; four grandchildren, Blake Riley, Courtney Nichols, Hailey Cronin, and Whitney Reese; eight great-grandchildren; two nieces, Terri Lynn Clay and Denise Riley, as well as his special friend, Cathy Cunningham of Kirksville.

Terry was a graduate from Novinger High School with the Class of 1965. He was employed over forty years for Hollister, Inc. He enjoyed playing in a band and played softball for a number of years; mowing his yard and was an avid Cardinal baseball fan. He was a member of the Kirksville Moose Lodge and of the V.F.W.

Public visitation will be held Monday, February 23, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. service time in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Pastor Virgil Jones officiating. Interment with military honors following at Park View Memorial Gardens in Kirksville.
