Steven K. Smith, born Jan 20 1952, passed away peacefully Jan 24 2026 in Kirksville MO at the age of 74.

Steven was born January 20, 1952 the son of the late David and Mary (Ancell) Smith Sr. He was also preceded in death by his brothers David M. Smith Jr. and Mark E. Smith.

Steven is survived by his loving wife Mary “Twerps” Smith of Kirksville, his son and daughter-in-law Troy and Mardi Smith of Jefferson City, a very special granddaughter Mia Smith of Jefferson City, brother and sister-in-law Michael and Patsy Smith of Galesburg IL, sister-in-law Connie Smith of Henderson TN, and several very loving nieces and nephews.

Steven was a graduate from Kirksville High School with the Class of 1970. Steven was employed for Rucker Candies.

Future announcements will be made about a celebration of life for Steven.
