Charles Lee Findling

Charles Lee Findling, age 86, of Macon, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at the Macon Health Care Center in Macon, Missouri.
Born February 13, 1939, in Kirksville, Missouri, Charles was the son of the late William Harvey Findling and Geneve Irene Fortney. He was a graduate of Kirksville High School.
A talented carpenter by trade, Charles spent his career building and improving homes. In his leisure time, he was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed turkey hunting, fishing, and training horses. He also enjoyed playing cards at Ten Mile, drinking coffee in Atlanta, and occasionally helping out at Lolli Livestock Market.
Charles is survived by his son, Mark W. Findling (Lisa) of Greentop, Missouri; and his daughters, Lisa Brelsford of New Sharon, Iowa, Lori Ritter (Les) of Perry, Iowa, and Jennifer Butler of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He leaves behind a legacy of 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Romaine "Tex" Findling; and his sister, Lee Coy.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, Missouri.
