Nancy "Carroll" (Linhart) Snyder, 89, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Friday, September 5, 2025 at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.

The daughter of the late Hallie Wayne and Gusta Leila (Baker) Linhart, she was born June 10, 1936 in Cora, Missouri. She was also preceded in death by one son, Bruce Wayne Synder; one brother, Benjamin Linhart; two sisters, Zelta Gall and Ida Mae Lambert; and her son-in-law, Ray Russell. On December 4, 1954 in Kirksville, Missouri, Carroll was united in marriage to James W. Snyder.

Carroll is survived by her husband Jim of seventy years; three daughters, Mary Cathleen Russell, Cheri Lynn (Terry) Smith, and Sue Ellen Snyder all of Kirksville, MO; one sister, Odean Carlson of Kirksville, MO; three grandchildren, Jaimee (Chad) Nicolino, Jared (Amber Bryan) Snyder, and Joseph Nobis; as well as six great- grandchildren, Sam Nicolino, Owen Nicolino, Julian Nicolino, Macey Snyder, Jordan Snyder, and Blakely Snyder.

Carroll was a graduate from Green City High School with the Class of 1953. She worked at KOH/Northeast Regional Medical Center as Director of Medical Records from 1954 to 1990, then worked part time in Medical Records at Grim Smith until her full retirement in 1992.

Carroll was a very active and devoted life member of the Women of the Moose #824 of Kirksville.

Public visitation will be held Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from noon to 2:00 p.m. with Moose Service to follow in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville. Interment will follow the service at Park View Memorial Gardens in Kirksville.
