Gerald A. (Jerry) Fehr, 83, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Sullivan County Memorial Hospital in Milan, Missouri.

Jerry was born January 19, 1942 in Saint Charles, Missouri, the son of the late Alfred and Aldine Fehr.

Jerry is survived by his wife Dora Mae of the home; two sons, Dennis (Tricia) Fehr, and Doug Fehr and Lisa Moss all of Kirksville, MO; step-son Bob (Michele) Fields of Pleasant Hills, MO; grandchildren, Shane, Nikkie, Ryan, Maddie, Aric, and Michael Fehr; step-grandchildren, Beth, Chris, Nathan, Stephanie, Sarah, Tyson, Tiffany, Jessie, and Breanna; great-grandchildren, Stella, Makenna, Riley, Braydon, Addy, Charli, Abby, Weston, Payzlynne, Payzleigh and Adler. He was also survived by one sister-in-law, Helen Fields of Brookfield, MO; several cousins, and nieces and nephews.

Jerry received his education in St. Charles High School and attended Truman State University. He worked for Adair Lumber Company and later in years in 1983 he started his own Lumber Business (Kirksville Lumber).

He enjoyed buying and selling cattle that was his life until his health failed then he and Dora Mae took weekly drives so he could still count his cows and calves. He loved to go to cattle sales which he did very often as long as he could.

Jerry will be missed by his family and many friends.

Jerry was a member of Faith Lutheran Church of Kirksville.

Public visitation will be held from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville. Graveside service will follow visitation at Jewell Cemetery with Pastor Eldon Kohn presiding.

Pallbearers will be Michael Fehr, Shane Fehr, Ryan Fehr, Aric Fehr, Nathan Fields, and Chris Langsdale. Honorary Pallbearers will be David Hill, Curtis Hill, Terry Rodman, Kevin Jones, and Gaylen Hill.

Memorial donations in memory of Gerald may be made to Faith Lutheran School and may be left at or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.
