His family was everything to him. Malcom and Pa(David) were fishing buddies. Leann was always his special "Punkin".

He was a big kid at Christmas or any holiday that his family was together and there could never be enough fireworks for the 4th. David was the best husband and friend anyone could ask for and he treated people fairly and loved the Lord. His only regret was not getting saved earlier in life. David treated his wife like a queen. He will always be her best friend and kept her grounded.

David loved to work with wood projects, the garden and yearly camping trips with his grandson. He had a white German shepherd named Sugar that he greatly loved, who passed 2 weeks before he did.

David wished for all his family to be saved and that came true with Malcom being saved July 12, 2025. A long awaited prayer answered. David loved Paul like his own son. Their friendship was treasured. To know David was to love him. David loved God and served him well. He always had a smile to share with his church family he loved. David was never jealous of others and was always happy for others to receive great things.

David was a member of the Victory Baptist Church of Willmathsville and was not called to preach but just to be a helper in the church of which he did to the fullest of his ability.
