Lynn Elaine (Lofton) Childress, 47, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2025 at her home.

The daughter of Joseph and Sherri (Hill) Lofton, she was born February 12, 1978 in Houston, Texas. On April 29, 2011, Lynn was united in marriage to Christopher Childress.

Lynn is survived by her husband Chris; one son, Cole Childress; one daughter, Hazel Childress, one brother, William Sorrenson and two aunts, Terri Banki and Jana Nyland.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Daniel Lofton.

Lynn was employed as a care giver for Chariton Valley for a number of years.

Lynn has been cremated and no service will be held. Arrangements were taken care of by Travis-Noe Funeral Home of Kirksville.
