Margaret Irene (McClanahan) Quint, 73, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.

Born April 13, 1951 in Kirksville, Missouri, Margaret was the daughter of the late Aaron and Lillie (Collins) McClanahan. She is also preceded in death by two sons, Rick and Randy Johnson, and her brother, Mike McClanahan. On December 18, 1991, Margaret was united in marriage to Harold Quint.

Margaret is survived by her husband Harold of the home; one son, Joshua (Lauren) Quint of Parkville, MO; one daughter, Ashley (Adam) Collins of Norwalk, IA: two brothers, Charlie (Elizabeth) McClanahan of Millard, MO, and Clyde McClanahan of Columbia, MO; four sisters, Leisa Jones of Livonia, MO, Coleene Johnson of Hallsville, MO, Alice Coleene of Dallas, TX, and Barbie Smith of Tallahassee, FL; five grandchildren, Bailey Nacy, Riley (Ashley) Johnson, Brady (Megan) Johnson, Braiden Seuferer, and Harrison Collins; three great grandchildren, Carter, Fletcher, and Calvin; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Margaret was a graduate from Kirksville High School. She was employed for Hollister, Inc., for Florsheim Shoe Factory, and at Grim-Smith Hospital. She enjoyed side by side riding, camping, old country western music, singing, and making people laugh. She was very proud of their new home and moving back to her home place. Most of all Margaret loved the time spent with her family and enjoyed cooking family dinners.

Margaret has been cremated and a Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, March 1, 2025 at the V.F.W. from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
