Terry Wayne (T.W.) Tarpein, age 70 of Brashear, MO entered into his Heavenly voyage on Saturday December 6, 2025 after a lengthy hard fought battle of Heart Failure.
Born March 18, 1955 to Lela Mae Walker and James Franklin Tarpein, Terry was a lifelong resident of Brashear, MO and should have graduated with his 1973 Brashear High School class, but at the age of 17 entered the US Army for a brief stint (1972-1976) as a Demo Specialist. Later, T.W. would dedicate 42 years of service as a Laborer to the Santa Fe/BNSF Railway where he would make several life long friends.
Early on in life T. W. knew he would walk the path of life beating to his own heart's drum and doing things only on his terms. Notoriously head strong, fiercely determined, quick witted with the best one liners and laugh you would ever hear. Giving the gift of jabs and gab to everyone he would meet. A lover of fast cars, bikes, avid flower/ gardener, amatuear pie baker and nature lover spending time in the great outdoors taking pictures of all the scenic beauty of God's majestic work. His greatest joys would come from spending time with his beloved family and friends. Sliding into the gates of Heaven, prepared to meet his maker, glancing back at a life well loved, knowing that his greatest achievements or titles would be that of Dad, Grandpa, Great Grandpa, Brother, Uncle, Cousin and Friend. T. W. was a truly unique, genuine, one of a kind soul that will be forever deeply missed by so many.
Survived by his two loving Kids, Dawn Tarpein Bruner and Jamie Tarpein of Kirksville, MO. Grandson's Sam (Dora) Tarpein and Jack Tarpein of Indiana, Great Grand children Valentina and Lazaro Tarpein. Sister Dee (Bob) Moylan, Brother Rick (Corina) Tarpein, Sister- in- law Mary Tarpein and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Preceded in death by his Parents, Brother's Kevin Tarpein and Paul, several Aunts, Uncles, Son- in- law Adam Bruner and most recently his loyal companion dog Tick.
Terry's final wish was to be cremated with no service to be held. Arrangements were taken care of by Travis-Noe Funeral Home of Kirksville.
