Paula Jeanne (Gregory) Tague of Kirksville, MO, suddenly passed on November 19, 2025.

She was born on December 21, 1956, to Willard and Mildred (Dawkins) Gregory in Edina, Missouri.

Surviving relatives include daughters, Alicia Stanley (Paul) of Silt, CO and Melanie Tague (Sam) of Pittsburgh, PA; granddaughters, Sydney Stanley (Nic) of Clifton, CO and Alexa Stanley of Silt, CO; sister Jeri Woodall of Kirksville, MO and brother, Dennis Gregory of Columbia, MO. She is also survived by her former husband, Charlie Tague of Hurdland, MO. She maintained a friendship with Charlie, and he continued to help Paula in many different capacities. Charlie will miss her deeply.

Preceding Paula in death are her parents Willard and Mildred Gregory, sister Joyce Buck and brother, Gene Gregory.

Paula enjoyed spending evenings with her sister, Jeri and looked forward to visits with her daughters to play cards and go shopping.

Paula took great joy in seeing her granddaughters grow into amazing adults. She often traveled to Colorado to attend their many dance recitals and competitions over the years.

In 2024, Paula was able to attend Sydney’s nursing school graduation and personally pin her during the ceremony, as well as attending Alexa’s high school graduation.

Paula’s faith was very important to her. She devoted many hours to the churches she attended over the years. Paula’s laugh and smile were contagious. She was loved by many and enjoyed fellowship and lunches with friends.

Paula loved Colorado and lived there from 1986-1997. During that time, she welcomed her second child, Melanie, and celebrated her eldest daughter, Alicia’s high school graduation.

Paula will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren and many relatives and friends!

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from noon to service time at 1:00 p.m. at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Melvin Bissey presiding. Cremation will follow the service.

Memorial donations in memory of Paula may be made to the Adair County Humane Society and may be left at or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.
