Constance Lee (Stanley) Griggs, 92, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2025 at The Pines.

Born June 25, 1933 in Kirksville, Missouri, Constance was the daughter of Charles M. and lee (Potter) Stanley. In 1949 Constance was united in marriage to Chester Wesley Griggs who preceded her in death on June 9, 2012. She was also preceded in death by three sons, David Griggs and Ronald Griggs and Peter Griggs; one brother, Larry Figgie; and one sister, Anna Lee Mims.

Constance is survived by one son Charles Stanley of Florida; daughter, Deana Bond of California; sixteen grandchildren including Tiffany Ireland of St. Peters, MO; and nine great-grandchildren.

Constance was employed for an auto parts business for a number of years and had been very active since 1999 with the Salvation Army of Kirksville, working closely with the Food Pantry.

It was Constance's wish to be cremated and a graveside service will be held at a later date.
