She was born February 2, 1939, in Kirksville, Missouri, the middle daughter of Geraldine (Borron) Bragg and Clarence Ezra Bragg. She was united in marriage to Richard Leonard Frazier on November 20, 1960, in Bucklin, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandchild Theodore Ezra Frazier II, son-in-law Russell Timbrook, her sister Barbara Williams, brother-in-law Arthur Williams, and brother-in-law James Weir.
She is survived by her husband, four children Guy Ray Frazier and his wife Janet of Hallsville, Missouri, Claudia Lynne Timbrook of Lentner, Missouri, Richard Leonard Frazier Jr. and his wife Mary Ellen of Laclede, Missouri, and Theodore Ezra Frazier and his wife Alice of Jackson, Ohio, as well as 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, her sister Kay Weir of Punta Gorda, Florida, nieces, and nephews.
Claudine was a lifelong resident of Adair County, a care giver working as a Registered Nurse at numerous hospitals in both Kirksville and Columbia. In 1979 she was asked to take on the major responsibility of establishing the Adair County Health Department, then shepherding the operation and caring for citizens of Adair County for the next 31 years, retiring in 2010. During that time in order keep her nursing skills up to date she would also frequently work two 12-hour shifts on the weekends at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. She never complained or said no to anyone in need, caring for everyone alike.
She cherished her family and friends and truly enjoyed raising her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren on the farm and community where she was raised.
Claudine was a member of the First Christian Church, Eastern Star, P.E.O. Sisterhood (Philanthropic Educational Organization), graduate of the St. Johns School of Nursing in Springfield, Missouri, Valedictorian graduate of the class of 1957 Bucklin High School and was a supporter of 4-H through the Liberty 4-H club.
As she lived her life, she never wanted any credit, sympathy, or public acknowledgement for her many achievements. Though she is dearly missed, the family will honor her wishes by not having a funeral. There are many worthy charities that you may contribute to in her name if you wish. However, she would likely ask everyone to just take care of their family and friends and help those in need as she strived to do.
Arrangements were taken care of by Travis-Noe Funeral Home of Kirksville.
