Lyndia Lea Billington, 76, of Green Castle, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Sullivan County Memorial Hospital.

The daughter of Clyde and Helen (Cooley) Billington, she was born November 17, 1948 in Kirksville, Missouri.

Lyndia was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Shandelle Prewett; and one sister, Candace Billington.

She is survived by three sons, Bill (Sheila) Billington of Boliver, Missouri, Destry McNelly of Springfield, Missouri, and Colby Reynolds of Green Castle; one daughter, Angela Webber of St. Louis, Missouri; three brothers, Clyde Billington Jr. of Florida, Eldon Billington of Novinger, Missouri, and Bryan Billington Sr. of Greentop, Missouri; one sister, Cindy Collean Billington Foster of Waterloo, Iowa; many grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

A former resident of Waterloo, Iowa, where she attended high school, Lyndia spent most of her years in Missouri. She was happiest when she was fishing, enjoying the outdoors, or simply being with her loved ones. Her strong faith in Jesus Christ was a cornerstone of her life. A cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, Lyndia will be profoundly missed.

A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Lipp Cemetery near Unionville, Missouri.
