Jim Lindquist, age 86, passed away Peacefully on January 23rd 2025 at the Schuyler County Nursing Home in Queen City, Missouri.

He was born on August 27, 1938 to Philip Irvin and Vergie Elizabeth (Swanson) in Greentop, Missouri.

On his 20th birthday, he was united in marriage to Glenna Gregory. To this union five children were born. His second marriage was to Sharon Wheeler for 34 years. Late in life he married Donna Dittmer.

Surviving are his five children, Jeff (Marge) Lindquist, Myra (Allen) Conover, Cindy (Ken) Pamperin, Jenny Lindquist (Rod) Derleth, Trish (Rob) Needham, half-sister, Ada (Jason) Tharp, along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents, one brother, Gary Lindquist, and his three spouses.

Jim loved raising cattle and doing anything on the farm. He was a long-time member of the New Harmony Church. He had many friends and acquaintances during his 30 plus years of employment at Standard Register in Kirksville Missouri. He graduated from the Greentop High School and was a proud member of the basketball team.

A private graveside service will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Greentop Cemetery. His cremains will be taken to his farm at a later date.
