Pauline Mae (Osborn) Mountain, 84, of Kirksville, Missouri passed away Sunday, January 12, 2025 at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.

The daughter of the late Opal Owen and Virginia Kathryn (Stivers) Osborn, she was born March 22, 1940 in Kirksville, Missouri. She was also preceded in death by one son, Steven Hurst; three brothers, Earl Dean Osborn, Donald Osborn, and Henry Osborn; and two sisters, Leota and Laura. On April 22, 1977 in Kirksville, Missouri, Pauline was united in marriage to Delbert "Sonny" Mountain.

Pauline is survived by her husband Sonny of forty-seven years; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Priscilla Coy of Kirksville, MO; one daughter and son-in-law, Terri and Martin Stitzer of Kirksville, MO; step-son David Collier of Kirksville, MO; daughter-in-law Kathy Hurst of Kirksville, MO; seven grandchildren, JD and Ginny Coy, Brad, Rachel, and Sage (Austin) Hurst, April Scott, and Katie (Tyler) Street; seven great-grandchildren, Rylee, Harlee, and Paislee Street, Maycie and Lane Scott, Blake (Lydia) Howard, and Lucas Howard.

Pauline was employed for Hollister, Inc. for a total of twenty-seven years until retiring. She enjoyed camping, family get togethers, and playing cards. Pauline was very devoted to her family and loved the time she spent with them.

Pauline was a member of the Sugar Creek Community Church of Kirksville.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2025 with Pastor Virgil Jones officiating. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville. Interment will follow the service at Yarrow Cemetery in Yarrow, Missouri.

Pallbearers will be Blake Howard, Lucas Howard, Craig Kilmer, Calvin Kilmer, Raymond Martin, and Bradley Hurst.
