Stephen Paul Bauer, 92, of Manito, IL passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at Pekin Manor in Pekin, IL.

He was born October 28, 1931, in Black River Falls, WI to George and Juliana Taubel Bauer. His parents; five sisters and four brothers preceded him in death.

He married the love of his life, Wanda L. Williams on July 16, 1955, in Missouri; she survives. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Linda Bauer, Joy Cook and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Stephen served in the U.S. Air Force and worked as an electrician for Powerton, retiring November 18, 1988.

He graduated from Black River Falls High School. He was a member of the Pekin Moose Lodge and IBEW.

Graveside services with military honors will take place 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Mary Immaculate Catholic Cemetery in Kirksville, MO, under the direction of Travis-Noe Funeral Home of Kirksville.
