Tricen Lane Ballinger, 21, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at the University Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.

The son of Jeffrey Lane and Angela Marie (Sparks) Ballinger, he was born July 14, 2002 in Kirksville, Missouri.

Tricen is survived by his parents Jeff and Angela Ballinger of Kirksville, MO; one son, Artavius Lane Ballinger of Kirksville, MO; one daughter, Angelina Marie Ballinger of Kirksville, MO; his grandfather, Ira Dee Ballinger; one brother, Jaden Wayne Ballinger of Kirksville, MO; fiancé, Jasmine Burnett of Kirksville, MO; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Beverly and Paul Sparks, and Judith Ballinger, and uncle, Sam Sparks, and cousin, Justin Sparks.

Tricen was a graduate of Kirksville High School with the Class of 2020. Tricen enjoyed hunting, fishing, video games, going mudding with the boys, loved old cars, but most of all he loved the time spent with his children.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2024 with family receiving friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville. Deacon Dave Ream will officiate the service and Interment will follow at Sloan's Point Cemetery, west of Kirksville.

Pallbearers will be Jaden Ballinger, Tryston Wilhite, Zach VanSickle, Jacob Taylor, Cooper Ballinger, and Dalton Sparks.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to his mother Angela Ballinger in care of expenses, and may be left at or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.
