Mildred Patricia (McCarty) Pickett, 78, of Green City, Missouri, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024 at her sons home in Kirksville.

Born March 12, 1946 in Green City, Missouri, Mildred was the daughter of the late Frank and Dolly (Call) McCarty. On November 2, 1963 in Novinger, Missouri, Mildred was united in marriage to Martin "Bill" Pickett who preceded her in death on October 18, 2020.

Mildred is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Harold Martin and Addie Pickett of Unionville, MO, and Justin Pickett of Kirksville, MO; two grandchildren, Eric and Derek Pickett as well as three great-grandchildren.

Mildred received her education in the Green City public schools. She was a manager of a cable company for a number of years. She loved music, dancing and will be remembered for always having a smile on her face.

It was Mildred's wish to be cremated and no service be held.

Arrangements were taken care of by Travis-Noe Funeral Home of Kirksville.
