Barbara Elaine (Bowling) Hill, 89, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Monday, July 1, 2024 at her home.

Born October 4, 1934 in Bloomfield, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Cecil Newton and Ruth A. (Davis) Bowling. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Sherry Sorensen and one grandson, Daniel Sorensen. On February 14, 1953 in Bloomfield, Iowa, Elaine was united in marriage to Gerald W. Hill who preceded her in death on December 6, 2020 after sixty-seven years of marriage.

Elaine is survived by one son, Gary W. Hill of Pontotoc, MS; two daughters, Teresa J. Banki of Kirksville, MO, and Jana W. Nylund of Winterville, GA; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Elaine graduated from Bloomfield High School in Bloomfield, Iowa. She was Vice-President and an Automotive Consultant a number of years for Hill and Associates. Her hobbies included gardening, needle work and sewing.

It was Elaine's wish to be cremated and no service will be held at this time. Arrangements were taken care of by Travis-Noe Funeral Home of Kirksville.
