Michael Edwin Anderson, 60, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Monday, December 30 2024 at his home.

Born June 28, 1964 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Michael was the son of Walter and Nancy (Ashton) Anderson. He was preceded in death by his mother and his brother-in-law, Jacques Dumosch.

Michael is survived by his father Walter Anderson of Jackson, WI; twin daughters, Rebecca Penn and Jessica both of Edina, MO; one sister, Sherry Dumosch of Loveland, CO; and one grandchild, Brayton Dan Miller of Edina, MO.

Michael graduated from high school in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin and also received a Master degree. He resided in Centerville, Iowa before moving to Kirksville, Missouri, where he worked over twenty-five years as a fishery biologist with the Missouri Department of Conservation until retiring this past September.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, following the Green Bay Packers football, and the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball team, but most of all he loved his family and friends.

Michael has been cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, MO.
