Clarince Rouse, 92, of Glenwood Missouri, departed this life November 30th, 2024, he was a Father, Grandfather and Friend to many.

He was born on June 18th, 1932, in Worthington, Missouri to Clarince Rouse and Anna Sparks. He married Etta Barnhart on September 10th, 1951, and lived in Rockford Illinois for 42 years, coming from Missouri. After his wife became ill in 1993, he returned with her to Missouri to support her wishes in her final year.

He worked in the manufacturing industry. Clarince had many passions in life including his love for motorcycles, horses and boats. Clarince was a simple man but a loving man who cared about others and always put other needs before his own.

Clarince leaves to cherish many loving memories; three sons: Bobby Rouse, Clarince Rouse, and Johnny Rouse (Evette) and one daughter Katie Rouse; four grandchildren: Leah Lister (Lewis) Tonya Rouse (Shay) Tasha Rouse and Dustin Rouse (Taylor); twenty-one great grandchildren: Sharnika Wofford, Shawn Rouse, Shane Rouse, Sha' quwon Payton, Mark Payton, Le'osha Gregory, James Pulliam, Babie Pulliam, Honey Pulliam, Romeo Pulliam, Kevinique Croom, Dasani Friar, Cor'tashia Rouse, Quincy Jones, Qua'shawn Jones, Najee Jones, Lovely Jones, Nicco Jones, Javarion Rouse, Grayson Rouse and McKinley Rouse; and a host of great-great grandchildren, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Clarince was preceded in death by his wife Etta (Barnhart) Rouse; his brothers: Nova Rouse, Bert Rouse, James Rouse, Charles Rouse, Elvin Rouse; his sisters: Eva Salvang, Mona Ramsey and Ruby Ruggles; and his two children Bobby Rouse and Katie Rouse.

Funeral services will be held on Friday (December 6, 2024) at Travis Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville Missouri, with friends and family gathering at 10 for greetings and remembrances and the funeral will be at 11am.

Burial will be at Rose Cemetery in Unionville Missouri directly after the funeral service.
