Thelma (Pettigrew) Hudnall, 95, of Kirksville, Missouri passed away Thursday, November 21, 2024 at her home under Hospice care.

The daughter of the late Vance and Lucy (Fisher) Pettigrew, she was born April 4, 1929 in Richmond, Virginia. She was also survived by one brother, Vance Pettigrew and one sister, Iris Stankie.

Thelma is survived by two sons, David Hudnall and Brian (Debbie) Hudnall all of Kirksville, MO; one granddaughter Heather (George) Ripley; two great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Lily Ripley; one nephew, Kevin (Nancy) Stankie; and one great niece, Susan.

Thelma received her education in Richmond, Virginia. In 1952, Virginia moved to Kirksville, Missouri to make her home and was employed for Florsheim Shoe Factory for twenty years.

Thelma enjoyed fishing and loved time spent with her family and grandchildren.

Public visitation will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, Missouri. Interment will take place at Washington Memorial Park Cemetery in Stanston, Virginia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Thelma may be made to Hospice of Northeast Missouri, and may be left at or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.
